I'm not sure if what I am feeling is cancer related or not, but you know how it is every little thing or pain and immediately you are thinking more or worse mets. That has been how my week has been and if I am honest with myself I will admit I am scared. I really want to believe that I am healthy and that this pain is nothing BUT (and that is a big but) when the pain lasts more than a few days you do get scared. This pain started late Monday evening after work and has not really subsided even with pain meds, the dr I saw ordered blood work and said to take the dilaudid as needed to control pain, So far I am up to 8 mg and will be taking 10 when I go to bed tonight. Pray that when I get the results it will be nothing to worry about but that they will know why the pain is there. I know a lot to expect but I trust my dr to get the answers even if it means more tests.

OK I have talked a lot but it truly does help to get my fears out where I can look at them objectively.

Thanks for stopping by.

The fact that I am waiting for the results of yet another CT scan has got to be a little intimidating except I have had so many of them all with different results that I have come to think of them as a routine test that needs to be done about every three months. The last one was in December and this one is April about 4 months exactly apart. How bizarre is that? I hope I get the results this week and don;t have to wait until I see the chief onc on the 27th of April. The wait is the worst part of any tests. That is the part that frazzles me not the test itself but the waiting for test results. Please God let it show a healthy liver and provide the dr with a reason for the extreme pain that led to the CT initially. I am a little worried, who am I kidding, I'm scared spitless that the mets to my liver are back and that I may need another round of Chemo. Regardless I will be working as much as possible.
